WOYWW 204

As usual, my desk is messy - work in progress.  Today my plan was to start a rag quilt and as I've never made one before I thought I'd have a practise run and make one for the dogs.  However, Adam rang to see if I could make a new home card for a couple of friends who are moving into a flat this weekend so I thought I'd better do that first.

You can see the piles of fabric squares at the back of the desk all ready to go.

The finished card.

If you're wondering why I've posted some random pictures of my craft desk, pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and you will find lots of other people all over the world show off their workdesks:)

Love the card! Adding the birds in the sky and the cat in the foreground was a good idea to really finish it off. Love all the colors and the dimension. Happy WOYWW! ~ Laura #105

Smashing new home card, especially with such short notice.
Thanks for your visit this week, so sorry to be so late.
Sparkle paste is by Imagination Crafts. They have a website and are on QVCUK I think. There are many colours. I have only the white one.

I do not know why, but houses are definitely amongst my fave images; love this card. And I know what you mean about getting it out the way - I'm going to guess that the rug will become EVERYTHING till it's finished..I'm quite excited!
