Wedding Card

Adam and Lucy are going to Lucy's cousin's wedding over in Belfast at the weekend and asked me to make a card for them.

Box Lid

I seem to have a thing about easel cards at the moment, but they do look good!

My brother's 60th birthday card

This card has given me no end of grief.  I wanted to use his name in big letters but it looked dreadful so in the end I decided on using a picture of him when he was little.  The bonus is, I can count it as a scrapbook layout so I can claim 10 points for my team, the Bijoux Belles!

Engagement card

The last week has been spent making cards - you'd think the amount I make I'd get a bit quicker but  no.
This card is a commission and it's an 8" x 8" one in a box.  I have no idea what I will charge!  She didn't ask for a card in a box so I'll have to wait and see what the reaction is when she collects it!  The card is a bigger version of Laura's pretty much.

This is the lid.

Engagement card for Laura

and some close ups.

I can't claim any of the credit for the idea, it came from here.  I've made another card similar to this one while I will upload later.

Sketchy Thursdays September Guest Design Team Challange

I've rotated the sketch and come up with this.  I've used Echo Park - A walk in the park papers which I am loving.  Although you can't tell from the picture I have hand cut all the trees out.  Had I know it wouldn't show up I wouldn't have bothered.

Sketchy Thursdays 8.5 - Smile

Another quick page - done from some papers given free with either a card making or scrapbooking magazine, I can't remember which.  I just know I have a whole pile of them that have never been touched and I thought it was about time I used a few.
The photo doesn't do the colours justice - the pink card is a real shocking pink.

Twisted Sketch~61 - Dream

It seems ages since I upload to my blog but I have been busy doing other stuff which I can't show for the time being.
The twist for this weeks sketch was rough so I've used some cardboard and taken part of the top layer of paper off and sponged on some blue and white paint - very roughly!

Workshop = fun

I found this weeks challenge on UKs a bit difficult but got there in the end.  We had to have:-

Theme of Education/Learning
Include 123 or ABC
Use at least one of the 3 Primary colours (Red, Blue, Yellow)

I chose a photo of the Bijoux Belles at the workshop we took with LB Crafts, I'd no idea about the ABC or 123 aspect so just used the word fun 3 times.

I haven't made paper windmills since the children were small!

Cricket or Grasshopper?

This is my entry for the design team challenge over on the Creative Craftworld Blog. We were provided with a sketch and as I'd just printed out these three pictures, I thought I might as well scrap them.  This layout also covers my August dip from my mojo jar which was "Scrap three pictures together in a group and include ribbon on your LO" by Kay.
