Today finds me doing some none wedding related scrapping which is a change. I've almost finished my layout for the monthly challenge on UKs but I can't find my silicone glue to stick on my buttons so if you see it lurking anyway, please let me know.

You might notice an empty packet of Wotsits on my desk which I ate with a fork (don't ask). The pile of papers on the left are ones I was supposed to be getting rid of but have decided to use instead. The red spotty paper wasn't in that pile, I hasten to add LOL!
The subject of this layout is my nails. I have never been able to grow them, they get so far and split and then I nibble them off so I have always felt my hands were the least attractive part of my body. For some reason, no idea why or how but they grew and got to the end of my fingers and were all in tact. I was ironing at my friend's house and she was having her nails done before going on holiday and before I knew it, I'd booked for my nails to be pampered. I decided against coloured polish as I didn't want to draw attention to my hands so I chose to have a french polish and boy am I thrilled with them. Two weeks down the line and my nails still look fine and I'm about to book to have them redone:)
Come and join in with the fun - it's addictive:)
Have a great week everyone.
P.S. The completed layout is here.

I can't see your silicone, but then, there's a lot there to distract me frankly..just that bag of tapes is a goodstart! Well done on the nails..see, I have a theory - it's the crafting. It's low impact and gives the nails time to grow, keeps you from nibbling at them and then all of a sudden, they're doing what they should. It's a great photo..and a great story..you will add that as journalling somewhere won't you? Huh? Huh?
Your nails look fab. I could give you my silicone glue but it appears to have set solid which isnt a lot of use!!
I never for a second imagined your red spotty paper would have been in your "get rid of" bundle lol
Love the work in progress, your nails look fab :D I'm another nibbler! lol
No sign of that silicone :(
cor i thought for a minute you were throwing out the red spotty and was about to shriek.
I bet its nice to be doing something non wedding after all this time.
Wotsits on a fork is a fab idea, eating and crafting with no orange pages, genius!
Waving hi from the bears @#84
Your nails look great, what a lovley layout too (I went for a peek).
Agree with above eating wotsits with a fork is a genius idea, I should have done that earlier with my crisps as my keyboard is all greasy now.

Love the idea of doing a layout about your beautiful nails! So unusual - but why not? It's a lovely way to celebrate having beautiful nails for the first time. Well done you.
Thanks for your lovely comment - yes, my new room is gorgeous, and I can't wait to get in there and get started!
Happy WOYWW,

Your french manicure looks fabulous and I love that you have done a layout about your nails. Mine are long but as I don't look after them they are a mess. Crafting doesn't help at all. Hope you find your glue soon. Happy WOYWW! Danie #14
Lovin your nails, they look real. Don't you just hate it when things hide on you. I bet that silicone is laughing at you not being able to find it. Hope you find it soon.
Have a great week.

Have not seen your glue here :)
Beautiful nails! I have the opposite problem - my nails are strong and fast growing. So I use them as tools, and that's what they usually look like... coloured and inked and glued!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Have a nice week!

Ooh that's a busy desk, no wonder you can't find your silicone glue!! Well done on the nails front too, after biting mine since I grew my first set of teeth I've finally (in the last 5 yrs or so) managed to mostly stop, but my nails are not in good condition and never look nice!

Your nails look great! Love the layout too. The final page is so pretty - just like your nails. French manicure is my fave.
