Time for a cuppa

The monthly challenge on UKs  set by Sue was a colour challenge and her inspiration came from some of my buttons
use blue, orange and cream.

I've not had much scrapping time of late and I wanted to do this challenge, so this is what I came up with.  Quite basic but another photo scrapped.  I used Sue's fab tutorial for making the chevrons - easy peasy:)

Reindeer farm

Chris has been busy making some reindeer for me to sell at my next craft fair.  He's made a pen for them so they don't escape :)

The two bigger ones at the front, Alfie and Daisy don't belong in this pen, they're a bit big!

Sorry the pictures aren't great, I should have taken them earlier when the light was better.

Purple hair

Yesterday I had an appointment at the hairdressers for a cut and colour and before I left I asked Holly what colour she thought I should have put in my hair and her answer was purple.

Here is the result:)

I was very tempted by turquoise too...maybe next time!

Weekend crop

Better late than never, here are the results of my weekend away at the Cardinal Colours crop, last weekend.

I did two classes, one of which was a large canvas which I absolutely loved, although I did change mine from the original.

This is mine:

This is the original:

I haven't finished the book I made in my second class so I'll upload that at a later date.  Here are the other layouts I made:
the first page hasn't got a title yet, I'll see if Chris can come up with something.

Not much to show for a weekend away lol!

Robin redbreast and other makes

I wanted to play today so this is one of the things I made.
A little felt robin - he needs work but not bad for a first attempt.

I've also made a card for Adam's birthday which is tomorrow.  I can hardly believe he will be 25 - it doesn't seem 5 minutes since we brought him home from hospital on the morning following the terrific storms in 1987 when the gale force winds left devastation in the south of England.

Adam has started playing golf again so I went with a golfing theme.

Something else I have made is a little purse.

It has no fastening on it at the moment and I will add a press stud for my use but I have since ordered some magnetic catches to use if I decide to put them in my Etsy shop.

Two of us

We went away in Polly this weekend and I hoped I'd be able to get the weekly challenge done while we were away so I grabbed a Basic Grey kit, a wodge of photos and some double sided tape and hoped I'd be able to come up with something.  Of course I'd forgotten to taken loads of stuff including some plain cardstock but this is what I managed to come up with.

The challenge was to us a title from a Beatles song, use black and white, one or more circles and at least four lines of journalling.
