I haven't stuck the big flower down yet as I'm not sure if I want to keep it there - I need to look at it for a while and see. I might use a smaller one or something completely different but for now it's hovering:)

Very proud parents
A layout to go in Adam and Lucy's wedding album. I'm going to do a few in between the project life style pages.

WOYWW 212
Wednesdays come around oh so quickly, don't they? Time to be nosy and check out craft desks throughout the land:) Julia's in charge so pop over to her blog and see how you can join in too.
This week I have started making a Project Life type album of Adam and Lucy's wedding. PL is very new to me and I'm finding it slow going so it's unlikely it will be ready before they are back off their honeymoon but I will try.
My desk looks like this
Here are a few of the pages I have started - there are gaps where I want to add journalling etc.

Beat the Christmas Rush
Life has got in the way of me making any cards this month so I'm going to show you one I sent last Christmas. I'm hoping to catch up over the next week or so.
I hope you've all managed more than me:)
My favourite card from last month was this one
made by Heather.
If you want to join in, pop over to Sue's blog for all the details.
See you next month:)

Project Life album?
Now the wedding is over (some pictures here if you fancy a nosy),I want to start to think about how I would like to document it all and give to Adam and Lucy as a keepsake. I'm toying with the idea of project life style pages so I can use lots of photos with lots of journalling and then in between a few layouts.
I bought some PL stuff ages ago and haven't done anything with it but it doesn't really match the wedding colours so now do I make my own or buy some different or make do?
This is how my desk looks at the moment, a box full of stuff and no idea what to do LOL!
Do you fancy sharing your desk this week? If so, pop over to Julia and you'll find all the details.
Oh yes, and now I can show you the wedding card I made for the happy couple:)

The Wedding
As some of you may know, Adam got married on Saturday to his soul mate Lucy and it really was one of the best days of our lives - everything was just perfect.
A few pics...
A few pics...
I'm sure I'll be adding some more at a later date:)

WOYWW 210
Nothing to report on my desk today due to the forth coming wedding and crafting isn't really my top priority at the moment so I thought I'd show you my new hair colour.
If you'd like to share what is on your desk, pop over and see Julia at stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk

Motherly love
The challenge for this week on UKs has been set by my team, The Bioux Belles. We honour one of our teamies and this time it's Lindsay who is our newest member. She loves VW campers, the outdoors, her fav colour is blue and she it tall and slim so that's where the stripes came in LOL!
For 10 points each, please use
- the outdoors as your theme
- stripes
- plenty of blue

I haven't dated the page yet because I'm not exactly sure when or where it was. I think it is 1997 and at Studland but I need to do a bit of research before I write it in.
I've been trying to use some old papers and I think chopping into strips is perfect for when you don't like the papers that much any more as you only see a small amount of them.
A close up of the wooden hearts - I just love these and need to order some more as I've hardly any left now.

A few cards...
I'd forgotten to upload these cards - this wedding has a lot to answer for!
This first one was for baby Cruz, Stuart and Suzie's baby born in May. Stuart is our nephew.
This one was for another nephew Richard and his wife Julie and they had a baby girl called Ella (Isabella).
This card is almost the same, I just used more lace and was for my teamie Laura and her husband John and their baby Elizabeth Sara.
Some birthday cards - again the same but different papers.

WOYWW 209
I'm not at my craft desk today but in the kitchen - the only surface big enough and clear enough for me to do the table plan for the wedding.
Nothing is stuck down at the moment, it's just waiting for Adam and Lucy to say yes or no to the layout.
So what have you been up to this week? Show us your desk and if you want all the info on how to take part, check out Julia's blog.
