Weekend crop

Better late than never, here are the results of my weekend away at the Cardinal Colours crop, last weekend.

I did two classes, one of which was a large canvas which I absolutely loved, although I did change mine from the original.

This is mine:

This is the original:

I haven't finished the book I made in my second class so I'll upload that at a later date.  Here are the other layouts I made:
the first page hasn't got a title yet, I'll see if Chris can come up with something.

Not much to show for a weekend away lol!

Creative Craft World Mini challenge

Naughty me, neglecting my blog again:(  I have been getting ready for my first craft fair so other things have taken priority so this is just a reminder to anyone who pops in here to check out CCW for the latest mini challenge.  It's on until 19th November so there's lots of time to enter and be in with a chance of winning a kit for yourself.

Robin redbreast and other makes

I wanted to play today so this is one of the things I made.
A little felt robin - he needs work but not bad for a first attempt.

I've also made a card for Adam's birthday which is tomorrow.  I can hardly believe he will be 25 - it doesn't seem 5 minutes since we brought him home from hospital on the morning following the terrific storms in 1987 when the gale force winds left devastation in the south of England.

Adam has started playing golf again so I went with a golfing theme.

Something else I have made is a little purse.

It has no fastening on it at the moment and I will add a press stud for my use but I have since ordered some magnetic catches to use if I decide to put them in my Etsy shop.

Two of us

We went away in Polly this weekend and I hoped I'd be able to get the weekly challenge done while we were away so I grabbed a Basic Grey kit, a wodge of photos and some double sided tape and hoped I'd be able to come up with something.  Of course I'd forgotten to taken loads of stuff including some plain cardstock but this is what I managed to come up with.

The challenge was to us a title from a Beatles song, use black and white, one or more circles and at least four lines of journalling.

Surprising

It's scrap map time again over on Creative Craft World so pop over to the blog and give it a go, you could win a prize!

This is the sketch drawn by Sue and here is what I have come up with.

This is my friend Pam in the car park in Buckingham - there is a little stream running along the back of it and loads and loads of ducks waddling about.  Although I lived there for a couple of years, I never knew this existed!  It looks a lovely place to take the dogs for a walk.  She took me out for coffee last week and we also visited a rather nice little fabric shop:)

Some close ups.
