Our Bijoux Belle baby is one!

Friday was Adam's first birthday!  How can he be one already?  It hardly seems anytime since Laura was waiting.......and waiting.......for his arrival:)

This is the card I made him.

Today I had a trial run in making an iPad cover.  Holly chose some animal fabric and I went from there.

I was quite pleased how it turned out but if it's not right, I'm sure Holly will let me know!

Kindle cover

This is my first attempt at a cover for a Kindle.  Overall I am happy with it - I would like it to be more padded but if it was, my sewing machine wouldn't cope with all the thicknesses of fabric but other than that it's not too bad:)

The back is the same fabric as the button and the inside is line with spotted fabric.

A few crafty items I've been making

I see to have neglected my scrapbooking of late because I have been busy doing other things.  I've started Adam and Lucy's wedding invitations and here is a sneaky peek:

I have 150 large flowers, 75 medium flowers and 225 small flowers to die cut to start with!

I've also made a couple of cards:

and been making some iPhone covers for my Etsy shop.  Here are a couple:

Hopefully I will be back later in the week with the weekly challenge from UKs for this week and last.

New mini kit

Again I have been lucky enough to be given one of this months mini kits from Creative Craft World.

So far I have made two 6" x 6" layouts and a wedding invitation but have plenty left to make at least 2 more small layouts and there are some lovely chipboard pieces, flowers and ribbons left too.

Always eating

I bought Scrapbook Magazine on friday and it came with some free papers.  I'm not really a fan of the freebies but I quite liked these and I thought they would suit a layout of my Mum so this is what I came up with.

I couldn't think of a decent title so chose Always eating as Mum always seems to be at a table with food in front of her when I took her picture.  Having said that, she loved her food but unlike me, had a bit more control over it lol!
