Bijoux Belles weekly challenge.

It was our turn  to provide the weekly challenge and this time we were honouring Jen.  This is our challenge:

Jen lives on the beautiful North Devon coast - we'd like your page to have a beach theme or, alternatively, as Jen works for a well known supermarket where 'every little helps', you could use an advertising slogan for your title. She has a penchant for the colour turquoise, so we'd like you to use turquoise or blue on your page. Finally, Jen is mum to two lovely boys; two photos please.

I went with the advertising slogan and this is my page.

September 11th

Today's page.  An experiment - an abundance of apples and wanting to try something different from crumbles, cakes and pies so I made a banoffee pie except I used apples instead of bananas.  It tasted lovely - the contrast between the sweet, sticky toffee sauce and the tartness of the apples was perfect.
Sorry about the shockingly bad photo but it's late and the light is rubbish.

There will be more journalling on the back of the tag once we've had Alfie's blood results and know if we have to have any further investigation.

With the wedding over the weekend I got a bit behind with this Shimelle class but I made notes on my phone as I went along so catching up wasn't too bad.
